How to Dress Like a WASP: The Androgynous Edition
One of the cornerstones of casual WASP dressing for females is androgyny.
It is not the tomboy look, nor anything that looks too masculine. Nor is it ironic or deliberately eclectic, such as wearing a suit and tie.
In fact, it is not a deliberate look at all. WASPy androgyny is the natural confluence of buying and wearing tasteful, well made clothes.
Some of the time the items actually are Men’s. This can happen because either women’s versions aren’t available or they are made more cheaply. Men’s clothes also tend to be easier to find when looking for all natural fibers, or clothes that have not been made overly-stylized or trendy. They also provide more options for women who are on the taller side.
